Linda Hinchberger

Hinchberger

Linda Marie (Mercatell) Hinchberger, 79, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024. She is once again free to plant her beautiful flowers in the garden of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Though she lost the ability to speak and move, her faith never wavered. She was an inspiration to everyone around her.

Flowers were her passion, but family was her life. Born to the late James and Dorothy (Heichel) Mercatell, she married her loving husband, Bill Hinchberger, on Aug. 14, 1965. Together they raised three children, Keith (Lisa) Hinchberger, Dave (Holly) Hinchberger, and Leisa (Drew) Ecklund. Also left to cherish her memory are six grandchildren, David, Brendan, Chloe, Cecilia, Chuck and Cheyenne (Cory); and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Mike (Shawnee) Mercatell and Jim (Gail) Mercatell; and three sisters, Joyce (Rick) Green, Netty (Jeff) Clinton and Kathy (Terry) Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Carol; and one brother, Joe.

Linda's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Concordia at the Orchard for their exceptional care, concern and love for her during her time there.
