C. Robert Youngquist
C. Robert Youngquist, 86, of Cranberry Township died Sunday at Sherwood Oaks Retirement Community in Cranberry Township.
Born April 30, 1918, in Winona, Minn., he was the son of John G. and Selma Brown Youngquist.
Mr. Youngquist retired in 1981 from Magee-Women's Hospital, where he had been a senior executive officer.
He is survived by a son, Lee B. Youngquist of McCandless Township; four daughters, Pamla Engle of Naperville, Ill., Judith Youngquist of Ventura, Calif., Linda Benck of Manhattan, Ill., and Deborah Laverty of Mount Airy, Md.; and a brother, Jim Youngquist of Minnesota. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn H. Youngquist, who died Jan. 27, 1995, and by a sister, Gay Baster.
