PennDOT to perform maintenance on several Butler County roads

Crews from the state Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance on various Butler County roads this week, according to a news release.

Mowing will be taking place on Route 58 in Allegheny Township, Chicora Road in Butler Township, Euclid Road in Clay Township, Oneida Valley Road in Oakland Township, and Kittanning Pike in Parker Township.

Patching will occur on Crider and Mars-Valencia roads in Adams Township, Oneida Valley Road in Allegheny Township, West Sunbury Road in Center Township, Little Creek Road in Connoquenessing Township, Shannon Road in Jackson Township, Cruikshank Road in Middlesex Township, New Castle Road in Muddy Creek Township, and Three Degree Road in Penn and Forward townships.

Crews will be a repairing a sinkhole on Old Plank Road in Butler Township.

Parallel pipe will be laid in sections of Route 528 in Connoquenessing and Jackson townships.

Bridge cleanings will take place on Route 422 in Butler Township, Interstate 79 in multiple municipalities and Routes 108 and 173 in multiple municipalities.

Brushing will occur on Franklin Road in Jackson and Adams townships.

On Brownsdale Road in Penn Township, crews will be conducting drainage work.

Shoulder cutting will take place on Whitestown Road in Butler Township, Route 8 in Center Township and Benbrook Road in Center and Butler townships.

Inlet cleaning will take place on Branchton Road in Cherry Township and Boyers Road in Mercer Township.
