Freeport Area High School
The Freeport Area High School commencement was held at 6 p.m. May 30 at the Freeport Area Athletic Complex.
The student speakers were Ava Slaughenhoupt and Luke Mayberry.
■ Ava is the daughter of Chad and Oleva Slaughenhoupt. She was class president, a member of National honor Society, Yearbook Club, Key Club, student council, executive student council, band, choir, French Club, Ski Club and the varsity soccer team.
She plans to attend the University of Delaware to study food science.
■ Luke is the son of Tim and Rita Mayberry. He was a member of Quizbol, Mathletes and was the district tech intern.
He plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology to study software engineering.
Class officers are Ava Slaughenhoupt, president; Anne Lindsay, vice-president; Dominic Pagano, treasurer; and Emerson DeWitt, secretary.
