Mikula

M. Jane Mikula, 81, of Butler passed away Monday morning at her home with her children by her side.

Born in Oil City, July 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Mary Erwin Wagner.

She attended Villa Maria College.

She formerly was a secretary at Pennzoil in Oil City and was a part-time employee of the Butler Eagle.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler.

She is survived by six sons, Michael J. Mikula of Chicora, Daniel J. Mikula of West Sunbury, Stephan A. Mikula of Butler, Andrew E. Mikula, of Aliquippa, James A. Mikula of Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Robert A. Mikula of Chicora; one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Mary Beth) Mercurio of Butler; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Andrew T. Mikula, who passed away Jan. 27, 2010, and by two brothers.
