Seneca Valley students earn 1st place awards at Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science state meeting
Three Seneca Valley Senior High School students earned first-place awards after presenting research projects at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science at Penn State University on May 20.
Autumn Zacherl, a sophomore, and Addison McLane, a junior, earned a first-place award. Abby Bonno, a senior, won a first-place award with a perfect score.
The competition is open to any Science Honor Society member, according to Kelly Weston, Seneca Valley Senior High School advanced placement chemistry teacher.
