Mary Ball Piroch

Mary Ball Piroch, of Butler, passed away on June 8, 2021, in the comfort of her home.

Mary was born Oct. 6, 1922, in Butler, and resided in Butler all of her life.

Mary was a lifelong member of the Butler Catholic parishes.

Mary dedicated her life to her family. She especially enjoyed her back porch, playing bridge and 500 with family and friends, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. If you ever met her, know that you were in her prayers.

Mary Piroch is survived by her 11 children; four sons-in-law; four daughters-in-law; 29 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers and their wives and families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, whom she married on Aug. 11, 1943, and who passed away in 2001; one sister; and one son-in-law.

PIROCH — There will be no public viewing for Mary Ball Piroch, who died Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
