Herman “Babe” LaMolinare

Herman “Babe” LaMolinare, 91, formerly of Evans City, passed away peacefully at home Saturday surrounded by his family.

Herman was born June 28, 1924, in South Side, to the late Albert and Rose LaMolinare.

Herman proudly served his country in three branches of the military; the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Air Force, during World War II and the Korean War.

He retired from the Equitable Gas Co.

He is survived by his daughters, Maria (Rob) Poremski and Anne Maria LaFond; his sons, Joseph (Carlene) LaMolinare, Herman G. (Marylou) LaMolinare, and Charles (Jerome) LaMolinare; his grandchildren, Chad LaMolinare, Cari (Paul) Dumbler, Nathan Moore, William (Deanna) Antonucci, and Dan (Fiavia) LaFond; and his great-grandchildren, Derek Moore, Cambrie LaMolinare, Barrett Dumbler, and Zachary and Mason Antonucci.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose (Battaglia) LaMolinare; his sons, Angelo Campagna and Anthony LaMolinare; and his granddaughter, Kelly Rose Moore.

LAMOLINARE — There will be no public viewing for Herman “Babe” LaMolinare, who died Saturday, April 2, 2016.A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
