Winifred W. Reith

Winifred W. Reith, 96, of Butler passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

She was born Jan. 27, 1920, in Connoquenessing to the late William T. Watson and Hattie Edminston (McLean) Reith.

Mrs. Reith was a graduate of the Butler Business College. She worked at Mine Safety Appliances as an expeditor for eight years of service, retiring in 1985.

Mrs. Reith was a member of the Connoquenessing United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, AARP, the Tanglewood Center and the former Connoquenessing Business and Professional Women's Club.

She is survived by her son, William E. Reith of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Russell W. Reith, who passed away on Nov. 23, 1979; one son, Charles Russell (Rusty) Reith; and two sisters Josephine Watson and Dorothy Hampton.

<hardreturn>REITH — There will be no public visitation for Winifred W. Reith, who died Sunday, April 24, 2016.
