Carl ‘Dick’ Sequete
Carl R. “Dick” Sequete, 92, of Renfrew, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, while under the care of Advanced Care Center in Butler.
Born June 10, 1932, in Butler, he was the son of the late Carl J. and Mary L. (Chiprean) Sequete.
Dick honorably served in the Navy as a seaman first class. He also owned and operated five restaurants, Chrichelles, Cabana, DJ’s Hideway, Scandals and Famous Recipe. He also was a Realtor in the Butler area for 37 years. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Dick leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Moore Sequete, whom he married on Feb. 7, 1959; his children, Pam (Terry) Baldauf and Carla (Tim Stephenson) Sequete; his four grandchildren, Brook (Chris) Phillips, Brent (Nicole) Baldauf, Ryan (Stephanie) Baldauf and Cameron Stephenson; and his eight great-grandchildren, Kobe, Leo, Natalie, Layla, Lucas, Liam, Cayleigh and Carter.
In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his son, Richard “Scott” Sequete; and his brothers, Carmen (Sonny) Sequete and Larry Sequete.
SEQUETE — Friends of Carl R. “Dick” Sequete, who died Monday, June 10, 2024, will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the time of full military honors and memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.
