Fugh Sr.

On Thursday, John A. Fugh Sr. of Butler, surrounded by his family, went home to be with his Lord.

He was the beloved husband of more than 50 years to Marilyn J. (Gerner) Fugh; loving father to David A. and Valerie Fugh, Mark T. and Erin Fugh, Jeffrey S. and Debbie Fugh and John A. Jr. and Lisa Fugh; always known as "Pap" to Abby, Bryanne, Andy, Logan, John Arthur III, Maggie, Anna Claire and Matt; and brother of Barbara (Fugh) and John Wyllie. He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He was the son of the late Arthur J. and Norma Fugh.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, John owned and operated Harrisville Drugs for 28 years.

<B>FUGH</B> — Family and friends of John A. Fugh Sr., who died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>John A. Freyvogel Sons </B>funeral home, 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire Street, Pittsburgh, 412-621-1665. Visitation also will be Monday for one hour before the 11 a.m. funeral service in the First Baptist Church, Butler. Interment will be at Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John's name to the First Baptist Christian School, 221 New Castle St., Butler, PA 16001.
