Seneca Valley educator named middle school adviser of the year
LaVarr Stephens-Howling, Ryan Gloyer Middle School acting assistant principal and student council adviser, recently was presented the Region A middle school adviser of the year from the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils.
Stephens-Howling has served as the RGMS student council adviser for nine years. As 2024 PASC Region A award winner, he was chosen from representatives across Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties.
Stephens-Howling is now eligible for the state-level adviser award.
