Frances Alene Davis

Frances Alene Davis, 75, of Butler, formerly of Newark, Ohio, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 28, 1929, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ralph and Stella McHarg Patten.

She attended the Nixon United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Debra) Pearson of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Andre (Yvonne) Daigle of St. David, Maine; two sons, George Davis and his wife, Martina, of Germany and William K. Davis of Newark, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Willis (Phyllis) Rasely of Butler; a brother, Kenneth Patten and his wife, Delores, of Butler; four nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Lee Davis.

DAVIS — Friends of Frances Alene Davis, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at theYOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Merritt, pastor of Nixon United Methodist Church, officiating.
