Edyth E. Hay McMillan Schroeder, 87, of Ross Township died Wednesday at UPMCPassavant Hospital.

Born June 27, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of John W. and Emma Voelsky Hay.

Surviving are her daughter, Sherlyn "Sherree" Vescio of Greenfield; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Dorathy Speakman; and a brother, Edgar Hay. She also is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest A. "Gan" Schroeder, a daughter and three brothers.
