Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
May 29 — Suzanne C. Shay, 54, of Gibsonia, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and simple assault after police stopped her May 28. Police said she threatened someone with a kitchen knife and kicked them. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.181%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 23 — Diana M. Lidey, 39, of New Castle, was charged with felony child endangerment and drug possession and misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with prescription drugs that were not hers.
May 22 — Kaleb A. Richer, 21, of Kittanning, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said over the course of several incidents, he left Aldi with $1,290 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
May 22 — Daniel V. Brawley, 56, of Titusville, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
May 23 — Ashley M. Brown, 32, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and criminal mischief. Police said she threw glass jars at someone and punched them in the face multiple times.
May 22 — Charlene L. Janke, 38, of Slippery Rock, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her May 5 on Franklin Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.208%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 22 — Bradley M. Shaeffer, 26, of Kittanning, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him May 18 on Grove City Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.108%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 22 — Kevin E. Bowen, 48, of Darlington, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him May 15. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.135%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 29 — Patrick J. Schantz, 38, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him May 27 on Route 68, Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.168%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
May 29 — Cardinal H. Riley, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors carrying a firearm without a license and drug possession. Police said he was found with a firearm, marijuana and a grinder.
May 29 — Allison L. Schrey, 25, of Evans City, was charged with two counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with two marijuana cigarettes.
May 24 — Jaylah S. Berryman, 25, of Irvine, Ky., was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and trespassing. Police said she refused to leave a home after being asked and would not comply with officer’s orders.
May 23 — John R. Leonberg, 76, of Evans City, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him May 11 on West Grandview Avenue. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.136%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
