Jean A. Jordan

Jean A. Jordan, 83, of Mars, formerly of Parker, passed away early Tuesday morning at UPMC Passavant Cranberry following an illness.

Born Nov. 16, 1925, in Hammond, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lucille Foster Hill.

Jean was married to Samuel A. Jordan, who passed away Dec. 21, 1990.

She was a longtime member of Parker United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She also was a member of the former ladies auxiliary of American Legion Post 598 at Parker.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Jordan Platt and her husband, Gary, of Hampton Township; and a son, Guy Jordan of Oil City. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>JORDAN</B> — Friends of Jean A. Jordan, who died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bradys Bend Cemetery near East Brady.Information also is available at www.buzardfuneralhomes.com.
