Florence E. Heller, 97, of Jefferson Township, formerly of Natrona Heights, died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Miss Heller was born Saturday, Oct. 21, 1911, in Natrona, to the late Albert A. and Ella Bicker Heller.

She was a 1930 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She then attended Duff's Business School. She was a bookkeeper at the Valley News Dispatch, retiring in 1977 after 25 years of service.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Natrona Heights, and the Beta Gradale Auxiliary of the YMCA in Tarentum, and she enjoyed traveling and reading.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence L. Heller; and a sister, Margaret Esler.
