Mildred E. Drescher
Mildred E. Drescher, 90, of Saxonburg was welcomed into the Kingdom of our Lord Saturday at Saxony Health Center.
Born Oct. 16, 1918, in Cabot, she was the daughter of Clarence R. and Lillian Heller Cypher.
Mrs. Drescher worked at Offetts Department Store in Butler and later at the Knoch High School cafeteria in Saxonburg.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver, the Maqueda Chapter 421, Order of the Eastern Star, the Saxonburg VFW Auxiliary and the PSEA.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlene (Albert) Lacanic of Natrona Heights; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Franke of Saxonburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Howard A. Drescher; and three brothers, Arthur, Vernon and Lloyd Cypher.
<B>DRESCHER</B> — Friends of Mildred E. Drescher, who died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
