Jean J. Treese
Jean J. Treese, 90, of Cranberry Township passed away Saturday in the company of her loving family at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Place.
Born March 26, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Richard D. Gebhardt and Jessie J. Keillor Gebhardt.
Jean was a faithful member of the Plains Presbyterian Church in Cranberry Township for 69 years, where she also sang in the choir. She was a member of the Cranberry Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Red Hat Society and a past member of the Cranberry Garden Club. She also volunteered her time as a plant lady at the former Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople. Jean will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Linda J. Treese of Valencia; her son, Timothy A. Treese, and his wife, Kimberly, of New Kensington; her granddaughter, Jennifer Treese; her sister, Janice M. Malmquist of Penn Hills; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Armel E. Treese, whom she married Aug. 1, 1947, and who died Oct. 27, 2014; her brother, Richard G. Gebhardt; and her sister-in-law, Nancy Goertler.

Treese, who died Saturday, July 22, 2017, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Plains Presbyterian Church, 326 Plains Church Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev.
