Margery Kathryn Cowan Mollenauer, 83, of Zelienople, formerly of Moon Township, died Friday.

Born June 25, 1922, in Washington, Pa., she was the daughter of Walter and Ocile Martha Wiley Cowan.

She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Mrs. Mollenauer also was an accomplished pianist and stained glass artist.

Surviving are three loving children, Carol Ocile Vracarich (Thomas G.) of Newport, Perry County, Walter Joseph Mollenauer Jr. (Kathleen) of Robinson Township, and Laurita J. Carleton of Wilsonville, Ore. She also was the proud grandmother of Kathryn Lattanzio Rowe of Sherwood, Ore., W. Joseph Mollenauer III (Kathleen) of Hopewell Township, Andrew A. Mollenauer (Colleen) of Westview, Jarett T. Mollenauer of Edgewood, Lara Kathryn Vracarich of Newport and Christopher Paul Carleton of Wilsonville, Ore.; and great-grandmother of Mikayla, Halsey and Kennedy Rowe and Aubrey, Keara and Austin Mollenauer.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Walter Joseph Mollenauer Sr. She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Toma Jacob Vracarich, and two brothers, Richard S. and Walter B. Cowan.
