Estelle L. Sherman
Estelle L. Sherman, 99, of Natrona Heights passed away peacefully Friday at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born, Sept. 7, 1911, in Ford City, the daughter of the late Michael and Antonina Swiderski Golab.
Estelle was a clerk at PPG in Ford City for 20 years.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, the Polish Falcons in Ford City, the former St. Francis Church in Ford City and the former Christian Mothers of Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
She enjoyed flower gardening.
Estelle is survived by her children, Richard P. (Diana) Sherman of Fairfax, Va., John D. Sherman of Natrona Heights, William E. Sherman of Shelocta and Judy A. (Jeffrey) Shoupe of Cabot; and by her three grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Sherman and Jessica and Jarrod Shoupe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Sherman on Dec. 5, 1990; a granddaughter, Janice Sherman; brothers, Alphonse, Charles, John, Michael and Dominic Golab; and sisters, Maryanna Baier, Anna Golab and Phyllis Golab.

Sherman, who died Friday, April 1, 2011, will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the <B>Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home</B>, 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be Monday at 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor, the Rev.
