Barbara Stahlman

Barbara Jean Stahlman, 60, of Slippery Rock, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Aug. 7, 1961, in Grove City, to Clifford Paul Thompson and Laura Jane Midberry Thompson.

Barbara graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1979.

She retired from Slippery Rock University recently.

She loved the outdoors and squirrels, and walking her dogs. She enjoyed many things, including working in her yard, reading, quilting and doing puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Jo Baughman of Slippery Rock; her son, Joseph Paul (Trish) Stahlman of Sharon; her sister, Linda (Charles) Warner of Grove City; and three grandchildren, Wyatt Baughman, Lindsay Stahlman and Tanner Stahlman.

STAHLMAN — The family of Barbara Jean Stahlman, who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, intends to hold a service of remembrance sometime this spring.

Arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

Memorial contributions may be given to an animal shelter of the donor's choice.
