Caroline Emily Hay

Caroline Emily Hay, 72, of Saxonburg passed away Friday at the Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.

She was born Feb. 18, 1938, in Butler, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Elizabeth (Welch) Martsolf.

Caroline enjoyed making crafts and dressing up as a clown and as Santa for parties.

Surviving are her husband, Dorris "Bud" Hay, who she married Aug. 3, 1956; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Barbara) Moreland-Put of Fountain, Colo., and Mrs. Oscar (Beverly) Vahidi of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, Bobby Hay of Daylilly, Ga.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Elmina) Facemire, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Dyer and Mrs. Harry (Alice Faye) Taymon, all of Butler; and two brothers, Alfred Martsolf and Albert J. Martsolf, both of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

<B>HAY</B> — Friends of Caroline Emily Hay, who died Friday, April 2, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 until the time of service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
