It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the untimely death of our beloved husband and father, Daniel Guardalabene, 61, of Gibsonia. He left us in the early morning Friday, July 5, 2024, after a tragic accident.

Dan, who is known as “Dan the Tree Cutter” is survived by his wife, Pamela (Caldwell), and four children Camden, Brittany (Nick), Taylor (Matt) and Michelle, who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. He is also survived by his dogs, Bene and Bear; his mother, Helen of Ohio; sister-in-law, Lori Walker and niece, Ashley, both of Salisbury, Md.; brothers, Charlie, Chris and Paul; sisters Barbara Ann, Nancy and Leora; and several in-laws, nephews, nieces and extended family members.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Charles; in-laws, Donald and Virginia Caldwell; and brother-in-law, Roger Walker.

Dan will be fondly missed by many close friends, neighbors, clients, colleagues and all the community members he has met along the way.

Our family would like to thank everyone at AGH Trauma ICU, who endlessly fought for Dan and cared for him in his final days and all who sent their love and support to us.

We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.

GUARDALABENE — Family of Daniel Guardalabene, who died Friday, July 5, 2024, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
