Saxonburg library to offer presentation on resources for elderly, disabled
The South Butler Community Library will host a presentation at 6:30 p.m. July 10 on free resources available to the elderly and disabled that could make their daily lives more comfortable or manageable.
The event will be hosted by Bekah Nesbitt, speech pathologist and assistive technology coordinator at Community Living and Support Services in Pittsburgh.
Nesbitt will explain the various means by which the elderly and those with disabilities can attain assistive devices, technology and gadgets, and other items.
Those caring for someone with these type of needs related to aging or a disability are encouraged to attend.
Registration is preferred at director@southbutlerlibrary.org or by calling 724-352-4810, but is not required.
Snacks will be provided. The library is at 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
