William Harris Puff, 56, formerly of Butler, died at 9:50 p.m. Friday at the Residence for Renal Care at Shadyside.

Born in Butler, Jan. 1, 1952, he was the son of Harris Alva Puff and Julia Druly.

He was a former member of Calvary Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Puff received a bachelor of science degree from Indiana (Pa.) University.

Surviving are two stepbrothers, two stepsisters and a number of cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother and an aunt.
