Regina M. Bunyan Puff

Regina M. Bunyan Puff, 79, formerly of West Sunbury, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Aug. 3, 1926, in Etna, she was the daughter of John August and Rosa Marie Franz Moelter.

She was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She also belonged to the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary of Ellwood City.

Mrs. Puff had been a cook at the Butler YMCA and the Pry Home for Children in West Sunbury.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sarah) Parker of Renfrew; two sons, Leroy J. Bunyan of Renfrew and John A. Bunyan of West Sunbury; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She also is survived by four sisters, Loyola McCann of Glenshaw, Mrs. John (Dolores) Farbacher of Etna, Rosemarie Duffy of Cheswick and Catherine Jesteadt of Penn Hills.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy R. Bunyan, who died June 17, 1975; and her second husband, Harris A. Puff, who died Oct. 5, 1998. A brother also preceded her in death.

PUFF — Friends of Regina M. Bunyan Puff, who died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Lewis, chaplain for the VNA Hospice, officiating. Burial will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 100 W.
