Jack R. Etzel

Jack R. Etzel, 54, of Ellwood City passed away Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Oct. 31, 1962, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Jack F. and Jean Templin Etzel.

Jack was Catholic. He worked at State Pipe Services in Cranberry Township. Jack enjoyed motorcycling and dirt biking. He also loved antiquing, flea marketing and gardening. He will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 19 years, Sharon L. Etzel; his parents, Jack F. and Jean Etzel of Wexford; his stepdaughter, Danielle Gifford and her fiancé, William Smith Jr., of Zelienople; his stepson, Ryan Gifford of Fombell; his granddaughters, Brielle and Mia; his grandson, Colt; his brother, Richard Etzel and his wife, Kristine, of Wexford; and his sisters, Barbara Steinmetz and her husband, William, of Sour Lake, Texas, Mary Beth Herbert and her husband, Stephen, of Tryon, N.C., and Patricia Kuhn and her husband, Jeffrey, of McCandless Township.

ETZEL — The family of Jack R. Etzel, who died Friday, March 24, 2017, will receive friends at the back of the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 201 Church Road, Wexford. The Rev. Kevin Fazio will officiate.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
