Woessner 90th birthday
Sarah Woessner of Prospect will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at her home, 315 Country Lane Road, Prospect.
The former Sarah Albert was born on Nov. 9, 1922, in Franklin Township. She married the late Clifford Woessner on Sept. 11, 1946, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Prospect.
She has four children, Clifford Woessner of Prospect, Warren Woessner of Cheasapeake, Va., Patricia Grossman of New London, Wis., and Karen Schnelle of Portersville. Another son, Frederick Woessner, is deceased. She also has 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Woessner is a retired school teacher. She is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
