Don and Connie McElhaney

Don and Connie McElhaney of Fenelton celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family apple festival at their home.

McElhaney married the former Connie McElhaney on Oct. 8, 1952.

They have four children, Peggy Kollister of Lubbock, Texas, and Don McElhaney Jr., Ralph McElhaney and Sue Christy, all of Fenelton.

They also have nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

McElhaney retired from Armco in 1992 and works at Keystone Electric part-time.

Mrs. McElhaney is a retired ceramics teacher and enjoys gardening at her home.

The McElhaneys are members of Community Alliance Church, where they enjoy their small group prayer and Bible study.

They also enjoy following local sports activities, as well as watching Pittsburgh teams.
