Cousins 50th anniversary
Virgil and Sandra Cousins of Karns City will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Zion of Petroleum Valley Church, 1392 Kittanning Pike, Karns City.
Cousins married the former Sandra Kamerer on Dec. 15, 1962, at Kaylor Methodist Church in Kaylor.
They have three children, Kaylene Cousins and Virgil Keith Cousins, both of Karns City, and Brandon Cousins of North Washington.
They also have four grandchildren.
Cousins is retired from Lowes and is a former truck driver. He enjoys going to car cruises and is a member of the Church of God.
Mrs. Cousins has been a waitress at Millers Restaurant in Karns City for 36 years. She enjoys cooking and baking.
The Cousinses are members of Zion of Petroleum Valley Church and enjoy doing work for the church.
