Raymond L. Brandon
Raymond L. Brandon, 60, of West Sunbury, formerly of Whitestown, died at 9:20 p.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 29, 1944, in Whitestown, he was the son of the late Loyal Theodore and Evalyn Mary Pyle Brandon.
He had been employed at West Sunbury Milling, Pullman Standard and Hilliard Mining. He also installed grave vaults and decorated graves for the Young Funeral Homes.
Mr. Brandon was a Presbyterian. He was a member of A.A.R.P. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his grandchildren and all of their activities.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Rita Huwe Brandon, whom he married in 1972; three sons and their spouses, Kenneth M. Schandelmeier of North Carolina, Kevin M. and Melissa Schandelmeier of Queens Junction and Keith M. and Denise Schandelmeier of West Sunbury; and five grandchildren, Matthew Ryan, Haley Nicole, Angela Lynn, Abbey Rae Schandelmeier and Jeremiah Scott Fleeger.
Two brothers, Robert Lavern Brandon of Evans City and Charles Emerson Brandon of Prospect; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A brother, William Emmett Brandon, and three nephews preceded him in death.
