Ruth Alverda Fair, 92, of Butler died at 9:10 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 2, 1914, in Butler, the daughter of William Young and Erma Millheim.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sally) Geibel of Butler; a son, Ronald E. Fair of Butler; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Fair, whom she married Oct. 10, 1930, and who died July 18, 1999; a son, Robert L. Fair; a brother, and a sister.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
