Louis Sadowski
Louis "Sawdy" Sadowski, 82, of New Kensington died Sunday at his home.
Born May 6, 1927, in Natrona Heights, he was a son of Vincent and Michalina Znosko Sadowski and lived in the Alle-Kiski Valley his entire life.
He was employed by PPG in Creighton as a millwright for more than 48 years. He was the former vice president for the United Glass Workers of America.
He was a veteran of the Navy, serving during World War II as a Seabee in the Philippines.
Sawdy was an avid reader. Many people would bring to him the unfixable, and he would fix it, and he also was a creator of anything.
He adored and loved his grandchildren very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Michalina Znosko Sadowski; his wife, Ethel Simon Sadowski; three brothers, Walter, Alvin and John Sadowski; and a sister, Mary Trenski.
He is survived by two sons, Robert (Cheryl) Sadowski of Cowansville and Dennis (Dorolyn) Sadowski of Dayton, Ohio; three grandsons, Devon (April) Sadowski and Zachary and Derek Sadowski; a granddaughter, Dawn Sadowski Denise; and a brother, Stanley (Eileen) Sadowski of Natrona.

CARDARO FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service immediately will follow the evening visitation at 8 p.m. with the Elder Moses Sosigian officiating.
