Kendall L. Goff
Kendall L. Goff, 86, of Section, Ala., formerly of Butler, died Sunday at Emerald Hodgson Hospital, Sewanee, Tenn.
Born in Burnt House, W.Va., June 24, 1921, he was the son of Simon D. and Eva Law Goff.
He retired as a foreman at Marmon-Keystone after 17 years. He formerly worked at L&L Glass & Paint. He also was a former golf instructor and ranger at Stoughton Acres Golf Course.
Mr. Goff was a member of Rainsville Christian Church in Rainsville, Ala., and VFW Post 249 of Butler.
During World War II, he served with the Army Air Corps in the Pacific.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian R. Rumbaugh Goff; a son, James H. Goff of Section; a daughter, Ms. Valerie Whitecap of Bridgeville; a brother, Charles E. Goff of Florence, S.C.; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
