Tracy L. Schake

Tracy L. Schake, 44, of East Brady, formerly of Butler, died Thursday at UPMC Shadyside hospital after a bout with cancer.

Born Jan. 26, 1961, in Butler, she was the daughter of William L. and Mary MacCarron Schake.

She was a member of Crisswell Bible Baptist Church in Karns City. She is continuing her life in Christ, "Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him." Thessalonians 5:10.

She was a 1978 graduate of Butler High School and partnered with her father in floor covering installation.

Surviving are her parents of Butler; three brothers, Cal N. Schake and his wife, Cinda, of Gladstone, Va., Bill C. Schake of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jay L. Schake and his wife, Wendy, of Powhatan, Va.; and nieces and nephews, Brittany, Erin and Ryan Schake of Gladstone and T.W. and Ashley Green of Powhatan.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Justin; and her grandparents.

SCHAKE — A memorial service for Tracy L. Schake, who died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Crisswell Bible Baptist Church, 118 Crisswell Road, Karns City, with the Rev. Paul DiBacco officiating. Burial will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler.Information is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
