Karl Martin “Cookie” Koch Jr.

Karl Martin “Cookie” Koch Jr., 91, of Endwell, N.Y., formerly of Butler, died Monday surrounded by his loving family.

He was a branch manager at Associates Commercial Corp. for over 45 years.

A man of great faith, he was a eucharistic adorer at the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church for over 50 years, where he was a lector and a member of its Holy Name Society.

He and his wife were involved in dance clubs and enjoyed many trips in their retirement years.

He was a devoted husband to his wife of 68 years, Carol Ann; and a loving father to his nine children, Suzan (Tim) Corwin, Larry (Dolores), Mary Ann (Jim) York, Patti (Brad) Anderson, Kathleen (Jim) Spatafora, Beth (Frank) Giordani, Karl III (Ruth), John (Becky), and Tom (Deani).

He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jo; three sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Gertrude; two brothers, Jack and Bob; and an infant great-granddaughter.

KOCH — The family of Karl Martin Koch Jr., who died Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, N.Y.Funeral services are planned for 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home and at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave., Endicott, N.Y., where a funeral Mass will be offered.Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, N.Y.In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to his favorite charity, Smile Train, 633 Third Ave., 9th floor, New York, NY 10017.
