Kenneth H. “Kenny” Myers, 59, of Lancaster Township passed away unexpectedly Monday.

Born Aug. 5, 1953, in Butler, he was the son of Margaret (Reno) Myers of Evans City and the late Earl H. Myers.

Kenny was a self-employed contractor who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Evans City VFW, the Unionville American Legion and the Zelienople Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but above all, he loved his family and especially enjoyed the time spent with his precious grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his four daughters, Lee Glenz and her husband, Steven, of New Brighton, Larae Winaught and her fiancé, Chad Hempfling, of Harmony, Amanda Goerl and her husband, Robert Jr., of Mars and Jessie Robles and her husband, Freddie, of Coraopolis; his brother, David Myers of Harmony; his four sisters, Carol Morgan and her husband, Joseph, of Cheswick, Susan Nelson of Zelienople, Shirley Antoszyk of Butler and Mary Ann Myers of Zelienople; and 11 grandchildren, Hunter and Chase Hempfling, Madison, Hayley and Breanna Goerl, Destiny, Jayden, Gauge and Reese Robles and Ashley and Tye Glenz.

MYERS — Kenneth H. “Kenny” Myers passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012. Kenny's family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. David Saylor officiating.
