Vincent Kreur

Vincent C. Kreuer Jr., 76, of Saxonburg, formerly of Middlesex Township, passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born June 26, 1936, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Vincent C. Kreuer and M. Armella (Kim) Kreuer.

He retired as an assistant controller for the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Church, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Knights of Columbus. Vincent enjoyed golfing, hunting and gardening.

Surviving are his loving wife, Charlene (Wiegand) Kreuer, who he married Sept. 2, 1972; his daughters, Monica (Chris) Kreuer of Lower Burrell and Holly (John) Kreuer of Louisville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Bella Grace and Jacob Vincent; his siblings, Sue (Dominic) Barbaro, Joyce (Gus) Claus, Charles (Ginny) Kreuer, Lawrence (Ginny) Kreuer, Margaret (Bob) Cornelius and Grace (David) Kreuer; six nieces; and two nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Kreuer and Kenneth Kreuer.

KREUER — Friends of Vincent C. Kreuer Jr., who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Sepulcher Church with the Rev. John B. Gizler officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Verona.Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
