One of the two spectators seriously wounded gunfire at the rally for former President Donald Trump on July 13 was released from the hospital Friday, July 26.

James Copenhaver, of Moon Township, was discharged from Allegheny General Hospital late Friday, according to a spokesperson for Highmark Health. Copenhaver was transported by a medical helicopter to AGH after being hit by a stray bullet at the rally at the Butler Farm Show. He was in critical condition after being struck.

The other victims at the rally were Corey Comperatore, a father and former Buffalo Township fire chief, who was killed by 20-year-old suspected shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, of Bethel Park; and David Dutch, of New Kensington, who was discharged from AGH July 24, after also being in critical condition.

Trump also suffered an ear injury that was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital.
