Angela Scalise Miller

Angela Scalise Miller, 90, of Saxonburg, formerly of the North Side of Pittsburgh, passed away Friday at the Elmcroft of Saxonburg.

She was born June 7, 1926, in Wexford, to the late Phillip Scalise and Mary Morris Scalise.

A Protestant, Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, singing and surrounding herself with children.

She is survived by two daughters, Michele (Russell) Breitmos of Butler and Marie (Charles) Pogue of Jefferson, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Dominic (Donna Jean) Tonzo of Monroeville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Miller, whom she married Sept. 7, 1947, and who died in December 2002; one daughter, Susan Mann; and five brothers, Anthony, Joseph, Frank, Rocco and John Scalise.

MILLER — Friends of Angela Scalise Miller, who died Friday, April 14, 2017, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will immediately follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Kathy Clark, officiating.
