James P. Boyd

James P. Boyd, 82, of Forward Township, Renfrew, died Tuesday morning at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Bellevue, July 19, 1926, he was the son of the late Edwin P. and Mary Love Boyd.

He worked in the maintenance department for the Butler School District.

He was a member of St. John's Reformed Presbyterian Church in Meridian.

Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Vandevort Boyd, who he married May 6, 1954; two daughters, Janet E. Boyd and Judith A. Basinger and her husband, Stuart, all of Stafford, Va.; two sons, Daniel M. Boyd of Renfrew and Robert J. Boyd and his wife, Tamila, of Valencia; and two grandchildren, Sean and Stephanie Basinger.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

<B>BOYD </B>— Arrangements for James P. Boyd, who died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, are private and under the direction of the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home,</B> 238 Crowe Ave. Mars.
