National Rendezvous and Living History Foundation will have its 37th annual Eastern Primitive Rendezvous from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Cooper's Lake Campground, 205 Currie Road, Worth Township. This event is a reenactment of American life from 1640-1840. Admission is $5 for adults and free for those 17 and younger and active service personnel with valid ID. Bartramian Audubon Society's wildlife sanctuaries are having field trips to explore their natural habitats. A trip to West Park in New Castle is Oct. 5. The events are free and start at 8:30 a.m. Contact Gene Wilhelm at 724-794-2434 or genewilhelm@aol.com.

Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will be the site of the 20th annual National Public Lands Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28. Register at 724-794-6011 or www.apps.dcnr.state.pa.us/Calendar/list.asp no later than Friday.

McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, hosts the 21st annual Heritage Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 28 and 29. The mill is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through October. Tours, which last about 45 minutes, are available at 1 and 3 p.m. Call 724-368-3612.
