Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts.

Butler

June 25 — Nicole E. Richards, 25, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a domestic dispute reported June 24 on West North Street. Police said Richards pushed a man to the ground causing injury to his face.

Butler Twp

July 1 — Matthew J. Alexander, 41, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats and simple assault related to a June 28 investigation into a gun flashed at a couple in the GetGo parking lot on North Main Street Extension. Police said surveillance video shows Alexander pointing “a handgun or a taser” at the couple multiple times.

July 1 — Markie J. Cammisa, 22, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft related to a June 29 investigation at Walmart. Police said at checkout Cammisa skipped scanning items valued at $361.

July 1 — Brianne L. Ray, 45, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft related to a May 25 investigation at Walmart. Police said Ray stole $81 worth of items by hiding them in her purse.

Cranberry Twp

July 3 — Keely N. Singer, 45, of Sewickley, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a May 31 traffic stop on Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed Singer was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at .252%. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.

July 3 — Cameron R. Zahn, 25, of Sewickley, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a June 19 traffic stop on Route 19 near Rowan Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Zahn was impaired. Police said a preliminary breath test showed positive for alcohol, but Zahn later refused to have his blood tested.

June 27 — Charles T. Lloyd Daniels, 26, and Felicia L. Daniels, 50, both of Pittsburgh, were charged with misdemeanor counts of retail theft, possessing stolen property and conspiracy, related to a June 10 investigation at Walmart. Police said at checkout the pair skipped scanning items valued at $233.

June 27 — China M. Dreuitt, 21, and Alura N. Allen, 22, both of Pittsburgh, each were charged with misdemeanor retail theft related to a June 22 investigation at Walmart. Police said the pair tried to steal cosmetics and food items — 99 items with a total value of about $880, by concealing them in a diaper bag.

June 27 — Christopher A. Greene, 41, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a June 27 domestic incident on Pendleton Way. Police said Greene hit his girlfriend in the face multiple times that caused a bleeding cut.

June 27 — Bradley S. Wainwright, 32, of Evans City, was charged with one misdemeanor count of leaving a vehicle crash related to an April 12 hit-and-run accident on Franklin Road. Police said they identified Wainwright as the driver and noted that his license has been suspended due to a DUI.

June 20 — Keith L. Franklin, 71, of Cranberry Township, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of DUI involving drugs and alcohol related to a March 27 report of a person “passed out” behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Route 19 and Ogle View Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Franklin was impaired, and a later blood test showed a blood alcohol content of .109% and the presence of marijuana. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.

June 20 — Rodney Giangiuli, 61, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a June 15 vehicle crash on Fairport Lane. Police said field sobriety tests showed Giangiuli was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at .172%. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.

Middlesex Twp

June 27 — Michael P. Logan, 37, of Sharon, was charged with misdemeanor identity theft, forgery, possessing counterfeit access devices and attempted theft related to a June 5 investigation at Northwest Savings Bank. Police said Logan tried to cash fraudulent checks with fake identification.

State police

July 3 — Marsha D. Lavrich, 50, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a May 25 traffic stop on Route 422 near the Route 356 exit in Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Lavrich was impaired, and she told troopers she uses prescription drugs and marijuana. Police said Lavrich submitted her blood for testing.

July 1 — Jason M. Stewart, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of child endangerment and simple assault related to a June 29 incident on Apple Lane in Clay Township. Police said Stewart was drunk and struck two of his grandchildren, one in the face and the other in the shoulder, causing scratches and bruises.

July 1 — John Shropshire-Simpson, 27, of McKeesport, was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest related to a June 29 disturbance at the North Washington Rodeo grounds in Washington Township. Police said they arrested Shropshire-Simpson for being drunk and screaming. Police said during his arrest, he head-butted and broke police computer equipment valued at $4,500, and he also tried to kick and bite troopers multiple times.

June 27 — Andrew D. Culp, 39, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a May 14 traffic stop on Pittsburgh Road near Dinnerbell Road in Penn Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at .195%. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.

June 25 — John K. Bellis, 69, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI related to a June 21 investigation into a driver slumped behind the wheel of his vehicle on Route 8 in Clay Township. Police said a later breath test showed Bellis’s blood alcohol content at .133%. In Pennsylvania, .08% is the legal limit.

June 25 — Alyson J. Beilstein, 34, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor DUI involving drugs related to a May 3 traffic stop on Vidic Road, Clay Township. Police said Beilstein used marijuana before driving.

June 25 — Russell L. Kastelic, 34, of Karns City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an April 23 investigation into an erratic driver on Oneida Valley Road. Police said they arrested Kastelic after he refused to perform field sobriety tests. Police said Kastelic also refused blood testing. Police said they filed charges based on a witness and corroborating surveillance video from a business.

June 24 — Michael L. Miller, 42, of Bruin, was charged with one felony count of drug dealing, two misdemeanor counts of drug and paraphernalia possession and one misdemeanor count of carrying a gun without a license. Police said they stopped Miller in his vehicle April 1, and troopers arrested him for an outstanding warrant. Police said following the arrest, they found a loaded revolver, 30 grams of suspected meth and numerous pills in his vehicle.

June 24 — Ronald E. Deal, 43, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and misdemeanor DUI related to a June 24 domestic incident on Geibel Road in Summit Township. Police said Deal drove home drunk from a golf outing, argued with his wife and son, then hit his son and put him in a chokehold.
