Supervisors reject bid
CENTER TWP — The township supervisors Wednesday night rejected the lone bid they received on the former municipal building at 419 Sunset Drive.
The township received one bid of $15,000 for the about 1,800-square-foot building.
It was the second time the building has been put to bid. The supervisors said the building now will be placed for sale without the need for a bid.
The supervisors in late July relocated secretary Anthony Amendolea to his new office in the public works building at 150 Hendricks Road. He is the only full-time employee in the township’s office.
The supervisors in August moved township meetings to the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company.
