Leslie Rae Males

Leslie Rae Males, 56, of Hampton Township passed away Wednesday.

Leslie worked as a registered dietitian at the Collins Nursing Home for many years. She then worked at a variety of jobs, including CCAC, Giant Eagle, and George Moving and Storage, and she was a homemaker.

Leslie was math proficient, a student of art, followed politics, enjoyed playing computer games and had a keen sense of humor.

She is survived by her two daughters, Melissa (Paul) Papariella of Hampton Township and Amanda Novak of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Mike Males, Mia Males and Tony Papariella, all of Hampton Township; her parents, Ronald and Corinne Males of Hampton Township; her sister, Lori (Mark) Schneider of Mars; her brother, Michael Males of Conneaut Lake, Pa.; her sister, Karen (Francis) Benson of Butler; and her loving companion, Dave Novak. She also is survived by an aunt, uncle and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly (Males) Wundrow, and her grandparents.

MALES — The family of Leslie Rae Males, who died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, will welcome friends from 2 to 5 p.m. today at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. A blessing service will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Cliff Homer, deacon, officiating. She will be laid to rest privately at Hampton Cemetery in Allison Park.Memorial donations may be made in Leslie's honor to North Hills Community Outreach, 1975 Ferguson Road, Allison Park, PA 15101-3235.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Leslie's family at www.kingfuneralhome.com.
