Eric Namesnik

Eric J. Namesnik, 35, of Saline, Mich., died Wednesday from injuries received in an automobile accident on Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Born in Butler, Aug. 7, 1970, he was the son of John and Kathryn Fleming Namesnik.

He is survived by his wife of 7½ years, Kirsten; their children, Austin and Madison; his parents of Butler; a sister, Leesa Allen and her husband, Jeff; his mother-in-law, Connie Diks; his father- in-law, Ruud Silvester; his grandmother, Kathryn Fleming of Butler; and his step-grandmother, Virginia Namesnik of Butler.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Birgette Silvester and her husband, Bert Vernooij; and nieces and nephews, Jeffrey and Michael Allen and Mattijs and Daan Vernooij.

NAMESNIK — Friends of Eric J. Namesnik, who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund for his children, SNIK'S Kids, (Eric Namesnik Memorial Fund), United Bank and Trust, 2723 S. State St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
