Gertrude Ruth "Pepi" (Dickson) Meixner, 82, of Butler died Thursday.

Born in Rochester, Pa., she was the beloved wife of Zane Meixner; mother of Meribeth Meixner Reed and Sherilyn Meixner; grandmother of Anna and Adrienne Fierro; and sister of Catherine Youngo, Patricia Mulcahy and Barbara Smith.

After many years in Northern Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Meixner returned to Pennsylvania, where they retired in Butler.

Pepi was the president of the Butler County Kennel Club for 15 years.
