Thankful for the kindness
About three weeks ago, I needed gas for my car, although I’m not too mobile and elderly. I attempted to serve myself at a Sheetz station.
I don’t know why, but I always have a problem pumping the gas. I tried several times to get the pump to operate. After getting a little frustrated, I looked to call an attendant for help, but could not locate the button for “attendant services.” Across the station walked a man I assumed was the attendant.
He said he would pump my gas and ordered me in the car. What a big relief! But to my surprise he wasn’t the attendant, just an ordinary soul coming to my rescue.
He pumped the gas, then said “you’re OK.” I only had wanted to get through a couple of days until my social security check came for the month, so I told him to put in $20 or $25 worth of gas. Instead, I was so blessed by the man who gave me a full tank of gas — and paid for it! What an extraordinary young man, who I know simply as “Jason.”
My sincerest thanks for such a great gift. The Lord looks after us in ways you can’t believe. What a great blessing for me. May the Lord bless Jason for caring and helping me. Jason, you have my sincere thanks and appreciation.
