Matthew David Dipner

Matthew David Dipner, 30, of New Castle passed away Sept. 3 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

He was born May 5, 1984, in Butler and was the son of Denny Hunt of Prospect and Donna Lynn Haskin of New Castle.

Matthew worked for the Doren's Brick Co. in Wampum as a machine operator.

He was a member of the Solid Rock Ministries Church, New Castle.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. Matthew also loved the outdoors and loved cooking and baking.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Collin Lunn; his longtime girlfriend, Cassie Lunn of North Washington; his two brothers, Chad Haskin of New Castle and Craig Edmonds of Pittsburgh; and his sister, Michelle Dipner of New Castle.

Dipner— There will be no public visitation for Matthew David Dipner, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Solid Rock Ministries Church in New Castle with the Pastor Tim Klein officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matthew's mother, Donna Haskin, 605 Pearson St., New Castle, PA 15213.Arrangements were entrusted to the Jay Bryan Funeral Home, Prospect.
